Each bridge is connected to a bucket full of sand or water to apply the force to break the bridge.

 This is the standard testing set up. It is very simple compared to the machines that may be purchased to crush the bridges. It is also pretty effective.

 Each bridge is checked for the mass and length standards. Part of the criteria for the design is meeting the standards for bridge mass, length and width of the bridge.

 As you can see, we have a variety of bridges that the students try. Each design is creative in its own way.
